Yesterday I participated in the IBM Rational Software Development Conference China 2008.

Someone said IBM was like in the music industry more and more. Of course it is a joke, haha.

The celebration was started with dancing and Jazz.

Go with the fashion of collaboration computing, IBM released the Jazz, a new collaboration platform for integrating work across the phases of development lifecycle.

I think Jazz is a great ideal and takes long time to complete fully.

During the meeting, IBM released Rational Team Concert, a first application software based on Jazz. Requirements Composer and Quality Manager will be pushed to our faces in the next months this year.

I am exciting when I have seen the RTC based on the Eclipse.

Too much software have developed based on the Eclipse, such as RTC, Flex builder, ORB Studio…

During the conference, the most impressive was the story of  Xiaoxitian company. I appreciate the creative story of the author.

I think the Jazz and RTC are very good, but they are expensive and in 1.0 edition yet.
