Although Beijing Olympic Games is over,I still enjoy the great meeting.
I haven't updated my blog for 3 months because I am busy in my degree thesis.

My classmate asked me to develop a multi-media application several days ago.
It is very small web application that based on Adobe stream solution.

I associate the Flex and think the Adobe is great company and the leader in web field now.
It is easy to understand why Microsoft is afraid of the Adobe.

Adobe's solution about multimedia is FMS(Adobe Flash Media Server) suite.
FMS suite includes some components, such as streaming server, interactive server...
We can download those from adobe website, but it is expensive, hehe.

The Flash Media Streaming Server provides some useful features.
For example, it can deliver vedio and audio stream, H.264 supported, high performance, live streaming, more concurrent clients...

It simplify your application and save developer some time and money.
You can develop multi-media streaming application as long as you know a bit of Flash and ActionScript.

If you want to develop multi-medial appplication and have enough money, it is better choice.
